This May saw the second annual Student Led Teaching Awards in which students from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David at Lampeter voted on a number of awards relating to excellent teaching, non-academic support and the fine work of the sabbatical officers. A lavish ceremony was held in which both students and staff donned their fine garments to attend an evening of celebrations. The School of Classics is honoured to have won the award for Best Academic Department for the second year in a row. We are also pleased to report that Dr Errietta Bissa, a lecturer from the School of Classics, won the award for best lecturer -congratulations to her! The School will strive to continue to perform well, and fingers crossed, achieve more success next year.
